How profit boosts work
A profit boost multiplies only your winnings — your stake is still fully at risk. A 100% boost on a +200 line means you collect 3x your stake on a win instead of 2x. The EV gain comes entirely from the inflated payout; the loss side is unchanged. This makes boosts most powerful on underdogs where the payout differential is largest.
